Akaraks are a species within the GC. They are somewhat bird like and are known to follow a strict moral code of fairness. Early in their history, they were colonized and used as slave labor by the Harmagians. Because of this, Akaraks are known to be quiet poor, some of them turning to lives of piracy and crime just to survive. Their children also require very specific diets which can also cause them difficulty in finding food. They speak the language of the Harmagians.
